What sizes do skips come in?

Skips come in many different sizes so you can choose the perfect size skip for your requirements. Here at Skip Hire UK we have 4 skip sizes, plus a couple of other rubbish removal bins such as roll on off bins if you need more than just a skip.

Mini Skips- Our mini skips are popular for domestic users who have a reasonable amount of junk left over after a spring clean or tidy up of their house and garden. Most general waste collections won't accept more junk than will fit in a standard black bin so hire a mini skip to get rid of that extra junk. Our mini skips fit around 25-35 black bags.

Midi Skips- If you've got a couple of pieces of small furniture to through away then a midi skip will be the perfect size for you. They are still small and convenient so they will fit on your drive or a small front garden. Our midi skips fit approx 35-45 black bags.

Builders Skips- Our most popular skip size. The builders skip is great for domestic or business use and can fit about 65-85 black bags. Use the builders skip for small building work or renovations.

Large Skips- Our largest skip has a capacity of around 14 cubic yards and cannot be filled with heavy materials like soil or brick as they will then be too heavy to lift. These are perfect for large, bulky materials.
