Many materials that we take for granted, and use in our homes are extremely hazardous to both the environment and our health. Normally the applications for these materials are such that we are almost totally guaranteed never to come into contact with them. This all changes when you undertake a construction, demolition or clearance project.
Some paints can be extremely poisonous to the environment and thus they must be disposed of in such a manner that reduces the risk of contact. These paints, and many other products contain solvents that not only damage the environment but also can cause irreparable damage to the human brain if inhaled.
Fridges are another difficult item to dispose of, they contain environmentally damaging gases (that are also pretty poisonous to people) that need to be bled off safely before the steel in the fridge can be recycled. Gas is also the reason why Fluorescent tubes and cannot be kept, even temporarily in an open skip.
Skiphire UK really can help when dealing with hazardous materials such as these. We can deliver to you a sealed skip to store this waste in and give you our promise that not only will the dangerous elements of the waste be disposed of safely and environmentally but that all recyclable materials will be recycled.
