Skip Hire Usage
When hiring a skip, it is imperative that you specify the type(s) of waste that you intend to fill it with.
Some forms of waste have different disposal rates, so by telling us what type of waste you’re looking to get rid of, we can ensure that you pay the lowest price possible. It is also important to remember that if you place unauthorised waste streams in your skip, you could face an incorrect materials charge, significantly increasing your disposal costs.
Why choose Skip Hire UK?
- Low cost, hassle-free skip hire
- Fast and reliable delivery
- Swift collection, whenever you’re ready
- Friendly and helpful customer service

During the order process, we will ask you what type(s) of waste you are seeking to dispose of. This is because the disposal of some forms of waste are more expensive than others, and so will help ensure we offer you the lowest possible price. Some materials are categorised as hazardous waste and so cannot be placed in any of our skips.
It is imperative that you do not fill a skip beyond the level load line, as this may render it overweight or unsafe to collect. In either case, you may then face an additional charge to remove it.
Our prices include the hire of a skip for up to 10 days. Prices quoted also include delivery, collection and the subsequent disposal of your waste and skip use.
We attempt to recycle as much of the waste we collect as possible. Typically, we successfully recycle at least 90% of all the waste we manage.
